Debora Patta moved to independent free-to-air television station e.tv in 1998 where she is currently Executive Producer and host of the current affairs show Third Degree. In her role as Editor-in-Chief, Patta was responsible for terrestrial news bulletins and e.tv’s 24hr news channel. She has trained and mentored a generation of reporters and led the team that launched South Africa’s first 24 hour news service. As host and EP of Third Degree, Debora Patta has become famous for her no-holds-barred interviewing style in which she is not afraid to ask the tough questions. Third Degree is a cutting edge investigative journalism program which has the highest audience ratings of any current affairs program in South Africa across all channels.
Patta has co-authored two books Baby Micaela and One Step Behind Mandela.

Our society is not geared to view being wrong in a positive way or even as being helpful. We are so scared of being wrong, so scared of being judged that we often miss the learnings.
